3M™ Fibre Disc 501C features sharp alumina zirconia mineral on a durable fiber backing, making it ideal for weld removal and other medium pressure applications such as deburring or rust removal. The3M™ Fibre Disc 501Cs alumina zirconia offers a fast cut and consistent finish on mild steel yet can also be used with good results on stainless steel.
Alumina zirconia breaks down to produce a consistently sharp edge that cuts faster than aluminum oxide and is suitable for stock removal on all metals, including stainless steel
Stiff fiber backing provides the durability needed for weld removal and other medium pressure applications such as deburring or rust removal
Durable resin bond resists deterioration from heat, increasing disc life and provides excellent mineral retention for edge grinding
Closed coat provides added life and cut 7/8" center hole mount is compatible with 3M™ disc pad face plates and hubs, and requires the use of a disc retainer nut (all sold separately)
