About Us

Nuffield Engineering Supplies, Thos P Headland, Troy (UK), NEStools.com

Nuffield Engineering Supplies was established in April 1994 following a management buyout of Thos P Headland (Poole), a national tool distributor.

NES tools success and growth has been largely due to our ability to work closely with customers and develop relationships to understand their needs, helping us to then offer cost reductions and efficiency improvements as practical solutions.

Our in-house technical knowledge and distributor experience ensure that we offer the very highest service levels to any company seeking a professional procurement solution.

We are supply partners and liaise closely with leading manufacturers to keep customers up to date with all the latest innovation and technology in the marketplace.

We are also a member of Troy (UK), one of the largest buying groups for independent distributors in the UK.

Nuffields move in 2013 doubled the size of our premises, offering local customers better facilities including a large trade counter and ample parking.

NEStools.com was relaunched in November 2017 with new fuctions such as online ordering, request a quote, view and reorder previous orders, save your basket, favourite product and much more, with the aim to save our customer time and money.

In September 2022 the company’s Quality Management System was successfully audited and met the requirements for AS 9120B in accordance with the Aerospace Sector Certification Scheme.

For the company this is a significant achievement and was as a result of an enormous amount of hard work and dedication by all of the staff and particularly those directly involved.

This further strengthens our position and shows our growing commitment to the aerospace industrial sector of the marketplace.
