Guhring 5493 2 Flute PCD Slot Drills are long-length cutting tools designed for machining fibre-reinforced composite materials and aluminium. Manufactured with PCD cutting edges, they provide high wear resistance for demanding applications involving abrasive composites such as CFRP, GFRP and aramid.
The 5493 features internal coolant supply, centre cutting and neck clearance, with a 2–4° helix angle and HA shank. The long-length design is suitable for slotting, roughing, ramping, helical milling, finishing and copy milling operations.
