There are two head types available within the Dormer range, the R950 are available in diameters up to 42.0mm and has been developed specifically for drilling operations in carbon and alloy steels, while the R960 is ideal for stainless steel and cast iron, but is also recommended for use in titanium and nickel. Both head types incorporate a self-centering 140-degree four-facet split point. This feature ensures low thrust forces throughout the drilling cycle, promoting consistent performance.
