Guhring 6717 CR 100 Kevlar End Mills are solid carbide, diamond-coated cutting tools designed for machining fibre-reinforced composite materials including Kevlar/aramid, CFRP and GFRP. The ultra-fine grain carbide construction and diamond coating provide excellent wear resistance for demanding composite machining applications.
The 6717 features a high number of straight cutting edges and is designed without face cutting, making it particularly suitable for external slotting and trimming operations. The CR 100 geometry is developed to provide clean, controlled cutting when machining abrasive composite materials.
