The 3M Cubitron 2 Cut-off wheel also known as cutting disc, is designed to perform on stainless steels, alloy steels and cast iron, offering high cut rates and some of the longest performance on the market.
3M changed the way we look at abrasives with 3M™ Cubitron™ II Products. The precision-shaped ceramic abrasive grain is the first thing that stands out, they found a way to position each piece of abrasive material to maximise cutting potential.
The clear bit is the ceramic grain acts like a cutting tool, cutting through metal like a blade and but also constantly chipping away to ensure a sharp cutting edge, this means the disc performs a the highest level for longer.
To put it plainly the 3M Cubitron II abrasive belts, sanding discs, and bonded abrasives are more aggressive, stay cooler and perform at the top level for longer, long after conventional abrasives would have been thrown away.
